Ex. NOA Boss, Mike Omeri has been officially affirmed by the people democratic party(PDP) in Nasarawa State as the concensus candidate for the nasarawa South senatorial District ahead of the 2027 general election.

The affirmation exercise took place at the PDP Nasarawa South Zonal Office in Lafia, with the PDP Zonal Chairman, representatives of the state executive Committee, party chairmen from Lafia, Awe, Keana Obi, and Doma Local Government Areas, and electoral officials from Abuja and Nasarawa State in attendance.

INEC officials from Abuja and nasarawa state office were also present to observe and witness the affirmation process.

Also in attendance were PDP House of Assembly candidates from Doma, Lafia Central, Party stakeholders, and supporters who all came out in solidarity to support and accompany the incoming distinguished senator during the affirmation of his candidacy for the Nasarawa South Senate seat in 2027.

Reacting to the affirmation exercise, Dr. Omeri sincerely thanked the party’s officials, members of state and local government Executive committees, the elders, stakeholders, and all party faithful for the confidence and trust placed in him.

This affirmation is not just a personal milestone; it is a collective victory for our party, our constituency, and our shared vision for a better Nasarawa South. Our people truly deserve purposeful and effective representation, one that will address insecurity, empower our youths and women, attract development, and ensure our district has a strong voice in in the national assembly….He added.
